Brenda Henderson has spent most of her life surrounded by the natural beauty of the Temiskaming Shores region, where she now lives in New Liskeard. Her luminous watercolours are known for their fresh, uplifting energy paintings that feel alive with colour, movement, and light.
Inspired by Northern Ontario’s landscapes, wildlife, and ever-changing skies, Brenda brings a realistic yet expressive touch to her work. She is continually exploring new techniques to capture the delicate interplay of shadows, texture, and motion found in the natural world.
Her award-winning watercolours have been featured in numerous juried exhibitions, and she has both participated in and led workshops across the region. Brenda is an active member of the Temiskaming Palette and Brush Club, the Northern Ontario Art Association, and the Temiskaming Art Gallery. Today, her paintings can be found in private collections throughout Canada and the United States.
