We make consigning with the gallery a straightforward and respectful process. Whether you are an artist, collector, or estate, our team works to handle your works with care, knowledge, and integrity. Moreover, we specialize in showcasing pieces from Northern Ontario and Indigenous communities, and we emphasize honouring the skills and stories behind each work.
Step 1 – Consultation
To begin, bring your artwork or collection to the gallery for an initial review. During this stage, our team carefully looks over each piece, discusses its background, and considers whether it is a good fit for exhibition. As a result, you gain a clear understanding of how your work may move forward in the consignment process.
Step 2 – Agreement
After consultation, we work with you to establish fair terms of consignment, including commission rates, display timelines, and promotional opportunities. Because every situation is unique, our team ensures each agreement remains transparent and benefits both the consignor and the artist. In addition, we take time to answer questions so that you feel fully confident moving forward.
Step 3 – Exhibition & Sale
Once the agreement is in place, we display your artwork in our gallery and actively promote it through community networks, events, and online platforms. Furthermore, our team highlights each piece in ways that connect with both local audiences and collectors beyond the region. When a piece sells, you receive a detailed statement along with your payment.

Unlike a fixed-rate model, our consignment rates are determined based on the artwork itself. This flexibility allows us to recognize the unique value, history, and story behind each piece. For example, we may adjust the rate for works of significant cultural importance or for large-scale collections to reflect the needs of the artist or consignor. Ultimately, our goal is to build a fair and respectful partnership that honours both tradition and contemporary expression.
